Begin Again

|
Another New Year has begun and we can start afresh and leave behind old thoughts and practices of the past. Sure, problems are problems and they don't just go away because we forget them, however, we can refuse to let them dominate our entire life.
A good resolution or plan is to refuse to be pulled down into negativity because of unsolved problems. There is an answer to every problem. We just have to be patient and ask the Lord to help us find the answer. Many times, it is just under our nose, so to speak or something we have already thought about. Prayer is the greatest answer finder. When we pray we open the windows of Heaven and allow the Lord to pour forth His blessings upon us. Prayer brings comfort in the place of turmoil and it brings peace when all hell is breaking loose around us. Things are never as bad as they seem. It is just the way we perceive them to be. FEAR is false evidence appearing real. The enemy wants you to think you are washed up and done with. He wants you to believe that you can never get out of that situation and that things have gone so far that you can never turn around from them. He is a definite liar. Nothing is impossible with our Lord. He can make a way where there is no way. I know because He has done it so many times for me. Call on Him and He will answer. Ask and it shall be given. Then there is a favorite scripture of mine. When you have done everything you know to do then do this: Isaiah 40:31 "They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint". Waiting is hard but the scripture says do it. Sometimes we have to get quiet to hear the Lord speak the answer to us.
Try getting quiet by praying first and then be silent and wait! You'll hear His voice and He'll give you the answers you need! You just wait and see! God bless and Happy, Blessed New Year.

Giving Thanks in All Things.

|
Every morning when we awake, we have an opportunity to give thanks to our Lord for the blessings He has given us. Even though we may be going through a crisis from lost employment or sickness or many other adversities, there is always something to give thanks for. The Lord is not the creator of bad things in our life, but we can continually give Him thanks not for every situation but in every situation. If we are truly thankful for what the Lord is doing in our lives, even though we can't see anything good in the natural, then He can turn the bad around and make good things out of what seemed an impossible situation.
When we look around us, there is always someone who is in worse conditions than we are or going through something more tragic than we are. We are such a blessed people and many times fail to realize it. It is only when we are faced with others who are living in horrible conditions and litterally living without the necessities we take for granted, that we realize just how blessed we really are.
Thanksgiving Day has passed and everyone is now rushing around getting ready for Christmas and many have forgotten the real meaning of why we celebrate that day. They will spend their last dollar on a gift trying to please someone who is oftentimes very unappreciative of the gift when they could have helped some person in desperate need of a place to sleep or a meal to eat and would be so grateful. Let us pray daily in this season to be a blessing and a gift to others. May we be the hands and feet of Jesus as we reach out to those He brings in our lives.
If we can do that, we will be able to thank the Lord every day for being a blessing rather than holding our hand out expecting a blessing. The more we bless others the more we will be blessed. Try it you will see just how blessed you will be!

Everyday - An Opportunity to Minister

|
During this past year, I have had the opportunity to travel quite a bit across our country and overseas.
During this time I have daily asked the Lord to place people in my path that I may share His love and goodness with. If you don't want this, you better not pray this prayer. The Lord is looking for those who want to share the Gospel with others not just in word but in the way they live.
It seems everywhere I have been, God has provided opportunity for me to share and minister His love and blessings. It is so amazing to see the Lord transform their countenance when they realize there really is hope in their situation or that there is a future of blessing from where they are now. What a joy to share what God has done in my life and continues every day with others and see the hope rise in their spirit. Our Lord is no respecter of persons. What He does for one person He will certainly do for another. What do you believe for yourself? Do you speak blessing over your life and your family or do you speak what you have and all the bad going on?
Speak life and God's Word over your days. Call for blessings and hope in your life and ask the Lord to make you a blessing to others. We may not always have money to give but we can give ourselves in a smile or a kind word to someone that will make all the difference to them.
Be a minister every day. Share life, light and love to all you meet and when you are going through a tough time, it will boost your faith if you continue to give out of your need. You need faith and hope then give it away. Our Lord never fails us when we ask Him in faith. Go today and be a blessing to someone. Watch out, you might just get more of a blessing back than you give.........The Lord just works that way!

Yesterday - History, Tomorrow - Mystery , Today - Present , A Gift of God

|
Everything that happened to us in our yesterdays is history. Sometimes we keep rethinking over and over these histories of hurts and disappointments. This keeps us from accepting the present that God is trying to give us each day. It's hard to receive from today when you're still bound to the past. We tie ourselves to the past by holding on instead of letting go and releasing all hurts from yesterday.
We need to get out a black marker and blot out all the past we no longer want to hold on to in our mind and heart. This can only be done with God's love and forgiveness. It cleanses us and prepares us to receive what God has for us each new day. It is our choice to take the present and allow it to bring us peace, love, joy and happiness. The outlook we take each day will determine how high we reach that day toward our goals and will determine the height of our happiness we experience that day.
Never carry hurts, disappointments or worry to the next day. Let it go into the archives of history and don't choose to continue to pull it back out and experience it again and again.
All history should have the stamp of forgiveness upon it. Move on in the present with love and anticipation and the choice to expect the best in the presence of each new day, knowing the mystery of tomorrow will bring new challenges, but new presents from God and grace to handle whatever may come.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery and today is a gift of God, and that's why we call it the present.

Release

|
Release means to simply let go of. It can be a release of hurts, attitudes, problems or even people. The opposite of release is hold or hold on to. The world programs us to always hold on to our problems and circumstances until we can work them out. We don't want to show we are weak or a quitter. So we are taught to hold on a little longer and it will get better. If it doesn't we get upset with God. All the time, the Lord has been telling us we weren't suppose to carry that. Our physical bodies were not made to carry the cares of this world. I Peter 5:6-7 says we're to humble ourselves to the Lord and cast our cares on Him because He cares for us. Well, if the Word says to give our cares to the Lord, then why do we still try to hold on to them. Sometimes it's not easy to let go of things but do we listen to the world or do we follow God's word? Why not release our cares? God is much more capable of handling anything concerning us. If He couldn't do it the Word would not tell us to give them to Him. After all, He knows us and knows everything about us and all the situations we are trying to fix. He's just waiting for us to release them to him. Then, peace can come when release comes. Try it now. Just release and feel God's peace. It's yours. The Word says so.

God's Blessings and Love and........Every day will be Valentine's Day

|
How can we measure the love of God? He gave His only son for us and He's made every provision in the Word to show us His power of Love. Yet, we cannot fathom just how much He really loves us! His blessings toward us are just the same. They are numberless. We are blessed every morning we awake and blessed when food is upon our table and on and on. We are so blessed many times and never realize it. All blessings can't be seen or felt, they jusr are because He is.
God is ever present and so is His great love and blessings in our lives. Were you blessed yesterday? Did you sense God's love at any time? Did you bless someone else or give love?
Today is a new day and you have an awesome opportunity to bring a smile to someone by just saying, "God bless you today," or offer a smile, a handshake or a hug. The more of God's love and blessings you give out the more you will have the capacity to receive. Every time you bless or love someone else, it expands you as a vessel to give out even more. If God sees you are willing to freely give out what you receive then He will fill you to overflowing with His love and blessings.
The more love you're willing to give the more you'll receive. The more you bless others, the more you'll be blessed. You will feel so wonderful in doing this. It will be amazing to see the expression on faces when you give love and blessings wherever you go. It will turn your life into a blessing sponge. You will find you receive more than you can ever give out and the love you give will come back in floods. Your days will be one blessing after another.
Try and see how many blessings you can give out with a love motive behind it. Remember, it doesn't require a lot, a smile, a good gesture, helping someone with a minor task or a pat on the back.
You will get more blessings from doing this than you can ever give out! Try it..................You'll see!!!
Have a happy and blessed Valentine's Day........Go give someone love and blessings..............God's blessings will come upon you!!!!!

Jesus - The Reason for the Season

|
Jesus is truly the reason for the Christmas season. He is the greatest gift we could ever be given and when we receive Him and all He has provided for us we become a new person. We too, are full of the love He gives and our hearts desire to reach out to others and share the beautiful gift He so freely gives to all who asks.
Make a point in the next few days to make a difference in someone elses life. A smile, a kind word or something more if you are led. Five dollars may make a difference being placed in someone's hand. Just be led by your heart and you will feel the love of the season.
I want to take this time to express my appreciation and love for everyone who reads and supports this ministry. I could not begin to reach all the people the ministry does without the support of wonderful people like you. I desire your prayers for they are what lifts me and inspire me to seek the Lord as I minister on this website and in person.
I pray that you and your families have the most blessed Christmas season that you have ever known and that God will inspire you to share your love and blessings with others on a daily basis not only this time of year, but throughout the coming New Year. God bless each of you as you seek the Lord and as you give of yourself to be used by Him to bless others.

God's Promises vs Circumstances

|
We have heard over and over the promises of God about a new life, eternal life and that He will give us the desires of our heart. What we don't take into account many times is that we have a major part to play in whether we receive the promises or not. Our circumstances have an important roll every day in how we make decisions. We can look at the circumstances and let those control what we do or we can take the promises of God and stand on those words and refuse to allow our heart and emotions to be controlled by the pressures and problems we face on a daily basis.
God's promises are sure, true and never change, but we have to change the way we look at them and believe they are more real than anything negative in our lives at this time. Our Heavenly Father is in the "impossible business". What seems impossible with man is just a simple thing for the Lord. He is offering each of us an alternative to the troubles and trials. What does His Word say about your circumstance? Find the promise in the scripture that you need to stand on. Read it, say it, believe it until it becomes more real than the problem and then watch Glod work.........................................remember the words of your mouth are very powerful............they will work for you or against you, depending upon what you say. If you speak His promises, they will negate any problelm or circumstance in your mind until you have the answers you need. God promises in His Word that He will never leave us or forsake us..............if we just make the choice to give Him a chance to show us. Call out to Him today in your place of need; find out the Word to stand on and then allow the Lord to reach out and bring you out of where you are............He's been waiting for you to ask Him to help!

When Storms of Life Rage

|
All we have to do is listen to the news or talk with someone in the store to know that everyone is facing personal storms on a daily basis. Just as natural storms come and go, so do the storms in our lives. They can leave destruction and loss that are just as devastating.
No matter what kind of storms we face, we have to look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith for answers. Just having faith is not enough today. If we don't put it into practice, it will be powerless in our situation or personal storm.
If we look back at scripture, Jesus spoke to the storm in Luke 8:24. There is power in our words. We must learn to speak to our storms and raging winds of adversity in our lives. We can sit back and let them cause destruction in our lives and the lives around us or we can stand up and speak to them and refuse to be silent while all "hell" is raging around us.
As Christians, we must start speaking to the circumstances in our life and declaring what the Word of God says about it instead of what it appears like in the natural. If we don't take control with God's Word, then then enemy is just waiting for something negative to come out of our mouth to use the power of our words against us.
When negative news comes, find what the Word says about the problem and begin to speak that over whatever the news is. Declare what God says about it. It works..................God never fails.

Plans and Purposes

|
If today, you came before God's throne and had to give an account of where you've been in life in reference to what you've done in God's kingdom, what would you say?
Where would you be and what would you be doing today....and if asked....what would your plans be for tomorrow?
God had a plan and purpose for each of our lives when we were created. Our environment played a part, our family, our friends and our own decisions have molded our past and brought us to where we are today.
We have been molded by circumstances and outside pressures of situations in our lives and people we've been surrounded by.
Have you ever had a deep desire to do something as a child, but you were told, so many times, why you couldn't that you finally believed it and forgot about the inward prompting?
Do you have a perfect peace in your heart or are you unhappy about where you are in life?
You can't change your past and you can't change what you were when you awoke this morning, but you can change where you'll be and what you'll be doing tomorrow and the days thereafter.
God knows our hearts and He knows if we are willing to by led by Him or if we will follow after man. He knew you before you were formed. He knew things you would encounter along life's path, but He equipped you with all the tools you would need to get through every adversity.
Seek Him today for the answers to your questions of heart. He will let you know where you belong and what you should be doing and if you are on target you will have a peace in your heart that only the Lord can give. He has all the answers you are seeking................Ask Him now..............and listen.

Grace

|
Grace is the unmerited favor of God...........the favor we didn't deserve. Nothing we could ever do would earn us God's grace.
It has brought us out of so many messes in our lives, protected us, kept us and placed us where we needed to be at the right time.
Have you ever asked for the Lord to bless you? Well, grace is the spiritual blessing the Lord sends to us by the Holy Spirit.
Grace can't be bought, because it is priceless. The blood of Jesus Christ paid for that grace or unmerited favor and spiritual blessings.
Ephesians 2:5 says in the Amplified Bible that we are saved by His grace and unmerited favor that we did not deserve but that grace is a gift of God.
As with any gift, we have to receive God's grace. He's been offering it to us all along, but we must choose to accept it and let it change our life, our decisions, our dreams and where we spend eternity. His unmerited favor is extended now, yes, His grace can rewrite your life..................reach out.................take it............It's free.

An Experience In His Presence

|
The emotional hurt and pain can be so great that you don't possibly think you can endure it another minute...........................
Then, suddenly, you feel caught up and you're sitting with your forehead cupped in the bend of a neck...........Your head is on a shoulder and arms surround you. Never have you felt a greater love and peace. It has to be the arms of Jesus. He begins to talk to you and let you know that He understands.
Questions arise out of your heart and He answers them before you utter a word. Your eyes see things you could not have imagined. Only He could have shown them to you. The beauty is so far beyond words that no pen could write them or paper could show them.
Your heart is being healed a little more, as much as you'll let go of today. It was such an intimate time you never wanted it to end. You must be willing to meet with Him again and allow that perfect love to restore what is broken. All will in time be made whole.
Keep entering His presence.....

Strength

|
Strength......it's something we need to meet our everyday challenges. We often get accustomed to what is comfortable for us. When we feel something is beyond what we can do reinforcements are call for.
This can be spiritual or physical. If everything seems to be going okay, we are not as likely to call on the Lord for help.......we can do in in our own strength.
When it's too heavy to bare, we ask the Lord to take the burden, when all along He's been there asking us to cast that care and not carry it.
When it's human strength, we often draw back and wait for help in in moving or carrying something. We don't really realize how strong we are if we aren't challenged to use the muscles God hasd given us. The more we use our muscles, the stronger they grow and the stronger we become.
The more of God's word we know and operate in, the stronger our faith grows. The more we pray and fellowship with Jesus, the stronger our relationship with Him grows. It's all said in Phil. 4:13 and Neh. 8:10. With Him we are awesomely strong!

Perception- How We See Things

|
Things that are at a distance from us, sometimes seem more fierce than they really are. We perceive them as being more of a problem or situation than when we actually have to face them.
If we have a fear based life, everything always appears to be worse and the more fear we operate in the greater the issue becomes. A faith based person looks at the same issues and sees what it could be, but takes the time to pray and call things that be not as though they were.
Problems become potentials for blessings. Situations dissolve into nothings before they actually happen. Our thoughts work for us or against us. We get to choose. If our thoughts don't line up with God's Word, then we need to cast them down.
Don't carry those bad thoughts and feed them so they will grow. Starve them by cutting off their fuel with God's Word. It stops fear, worry, and doubt in their tracts.
When something appears in the distance, deal with it immediately. Don't wait until it gets bigger and robs your peace.
Keep peace.........it's worth the work!

Portals of His Glory

|
A few days ago I was riding in the car and I glanced over and looked up at the clouds that were beginning to darken, even though it was still light and late evening. To my amazement, there was a cloud that the sun was coming down through and it appeared to be stairsteps coming through the brilliant light that the cloud was projecting from the sunbeams. It was literally breathtaking. The picture I have included is not the one I saw but is close to give you an idea of what it looked like.
It seemed as if I heard the Lord speak and say," This is just one of my portals of Glory that I am now opening all over the world. My people are hungry for Me and I am opening up the portals and releasing My Glory like never before". I sat almost numb when I heard that (I wasn't driving by the way). I have sensed in my spirit that the Lord is about to do something beyond anything we have ever seen or heard. His Glory is about to burst out over every church body that is hungry for His presence and in places we would least likely expect it.
Are you hungry for the Lord? Do you want more of His presence on a daily basis? Do you need a miracle in your life or in the lives of your loved ones or friends? Then begin to ask the Lord to make you hungrier than you've ever been for Him. Ask Him to show His Glory and manifest miracles in your life.
We are so close to miracles every day. Many times we are snared by the words of our mouth and lack of faith. We get caught up in listening to the world instead of God's Word. I am very aware of what I am writing because I now am walking in this very thing now in my own life. We are beginning to hear of great meetings where God's Glory is being manifest and signs, wonders and miracles are taking place. Don't seek the miracle, seek the miracle maker. His name is Jesus and He is just a prayer away. Look up to the clouds, He might just show you in the natural what a portal from Heaven looks like in the spirit realm. I realize that was just a phenomenem of clouds and sun the other day, however, I believe the Lord showed that to me to explain what He is doing and about to do everywhere. The Lord has always spoken to me by examples and then explains what I am suppose to glean from it. Seek the Giver and not just the Glory. He is here, waiting for you to call on Him. Do it today, and then begin to expect the greatest outpouring of blessings, miracles and great wonders in your life. (Amplified Bible) Colossians:1:26-27 - The mystery of which was hidden for ages and generations from angels and men, but is now revealed to His holy people, the saints. To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of (realizing the) glory.
